Walt Mueller recntly wrote a book called "Opie Doesn't Live Here Anymore." Mr. Mueller pointed out that our culture is constantly in change. Anyone today will admit that our world has changed dramatically socially, technically and morally in the last 25 years. Often our new world can be confusing and very stressfull. The stress can be seen in adults and children as well.
Not only has our changed culture caused turmoil and conflict in our lives, the fallen state of man and our world creates hurdles to face. These hurdles combined with pain, suffering and struggle often lead us down twisted paths. These paths may have one seeking " idols" of comfort as well as temporary filling of the "cry of the heart."
