Summer Missions 2017
Jesus instructed the apostles go to into all the world and preach the gospel. Grace Coastal Church considers this command a vital component in proclaiming Jesus not only in the Bluffton area but through the world.

Please pray with us for our summer missionaries - Scott and Elliana Duncan going to Swazliland, and Mika'l Qualls going to the Ukraine. Read about their trips, missions, and ways to help here on our World Missions page.
Scott and Elliana Duncan, Swaziland
Please read this letter from one of our young church members, Elliana Duncan, age 12 about her upcoming 2017 summer mission trip:

Dear Family and Friends,
Last year I had an opportunity to serve in Bulembu, Swaziland with my mom. However, this year I am returning with my dad. Bulembu’s mission is to restore hope, equip lives, and build family through Christ-centered community care and community enterprise. We are members of a team of twelve, who are going to help the orphanage in the following ways:
1) Planning and conducting a Vacation Bible School for the children.
2) Painting and remodeling the homes with support from Sherwin Williams.
3) Working on plumbing in the main church building.
4) Delivering medical supplies to the clinic.
5) Joining Challenge Ministry for inner city children in Manzini.
6) Providing worship with the support of Hillsong.

Please pray with us for the children in Bulembu, the people of Swaziland, and the needs of our team! Below is a newsletter that we created and handed out to the members of our church. On the newsletter are ways you can pray for us. The right side can be cut out and used as a bookmark.
I am also raising support locally here in Beaufort by babysitting for families this summer, and selling t-shirts and prayer angels. If the Lord is leading you to financially support our needs for the trip, then you can make a check out to the following for a tax deductible donation and write "Scott and Elliana- Bulembu" in the notes section:

Soli Deo Gloria,
Mika'l Qualls, Ukraine
Mika'l and Sarah are partnering with Save A Life International, a Ukraine based Pro-Life ministry. They have been invited to go and help them start their post-abortion ministry. Mika'l and Sarah will be leading a group through the Forgiven & Set Free Bible Study, which takes a woman through the post-abortion healing process, with the goal of equipping them with the tools to carry on this vital ministry.

Mika'l's journey in post-abortion ministry began 8 years ago after getting involved with the Radiance Women's Center, a ministry that comes along women in a crisis pregnancy and who cares for women after abortion. This will be her second trip to Ukraine doing post-abortion ministry. It is truly one of her greatest joys - to see women who have been set free from the bondage of guilt and shame and who now are able to walk in the light and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Sarah, who is partnering with Mika'l on this trip, has worked in pro-life ministry for 2.5 years doing sidewalk counseling outside one of the busiest abortion clinics in the Southeastern United States. She has taken a break for the past year to get married, move to a new state and start a new job, but when Mika'l texted her out-of-the-blue asking if she wanted to travel to Ukraine this summer to do post-abortion ministry she (haltingly) said yes. This is all new: post-abortion ministry, foreign travel, foreign countries, foreign languages but this is her prayer: to live a life yielded to the Lord's will. "Speak, Lord, for your servants *ARE* listening." "Here am I; send me."

Please prayerfully consider helping us get there through a financial donation! To Donate: (and choose the Forgiven and Set Free Project fund).

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion - to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."
- Isaiah 61:1-3
