SENIOR PASTOR

Jason is a senior pastor with 11 years in the ministry, including small group and youth ministry leadership, and the past 7 years as senior pastor of Ballston Center Presbyterian Church. He is married to his wife of 22 years, Taffi, and together have 6 children, ages 5-21.

Jason is an Air Force veteran, has served as professor of philosophy/worldview, earned an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary, and is pursuing his M.Th. with the goal of earning his doctorate in next couple of years

Jason's passion is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, using the gifts of teaching and preaching within the context of a warm and confessional theology to disciple believers who practice a faithful presence in their various capacities and callings to the glory of the triune God.

Outside of church and theological pursuits, Jason is an avid basketball player and will certainly be seeking out those interested in a quick pickup game.

ASSISTANT PASTOR

David grew up in small-town Tennessee in Cookeville. There he learned to love both ministry and the outdoors through the influence of his youth pastor and RUF campus minister. He began ministry as a worship leader and small group leader in his campus ministry group. He studied classical guitar at Tennessee Technological university and received his worship-focused MDiv degree from Covenant Theological Seminary. He and his wife Katie and their four children (Kara – 7, Elena – 5, Rhys – 2, and Samwise – 1) are enjoying living in the Lowcountry and getting to know their community and church family. David enjoys playing guitar and woodworking; he and his wife enjoy sharing cycling, hiking, and gaming (PC and tabletop games).

CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR

Taffi was born and raised in Guam where she met her husband of 22 years. She has been a stay at home mom raising their 6 children. Taffi has an Associate’s degree in Bible from Liberty University and a masters degree in living life!

She loves cultural foods, Starbucks coffee, hospitality and has no problem inviting someone she’s just met over for dinner!
